This is a brand new RPG, and it needs members and staff!
The DC universe has just been through a crisis, the FINAL CRISIS. After the events in Final Crisis, ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Crisis ) the DC world is left in chaos. A world with Batman, a world without Superman, a world without Wally West, a world left in ruins. All of the heroes and the world have been mourning the loss of their friends, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Superman (although not dead, just on New Krypton), and Aquaman. Out of the bad, comes good. Barry Allen came back to life and returned to being the Flash. The New Gods are dead, so there is now more peace in the universe.
But now after months, the world finally started to move on. Gotham had become what it was before, a haven for the criminal underworld. Gothamites have realized that once again Bruce Wayne has vanished (but they don't link him to Batman). Metropolis is still thriving, but the citizens do not feel as safe without Superman. The world needs their heroes to return.
Come and play as the heroes the world needs. All characters are needed. All of the characters that died or disappeared in Final Crisis are ok. You can choose them. In fact you can choose any DC character. This site is just relaunching. If you have any question please ask.
This is the DC Universe. A group of heroes, Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter, have come together to create the world's first super team of heroes. They call themselves the Justice League. The Justice League has been formed to help keep peace and order in the world and the galaxy.
This is the beginning of their story. This is the DC Universe. You can role play as your favorite character and change the DCU. You can fight the bad guys, or be one of them. It does not matter. This is the DC Comics RP.

Maybe you're a lawyer, trying to take down everyone in the mob scene. Are you a Mobster? Taking hired hits and hoping to stay alive. Maybe your a Cop, trying to keep the streets litter free, and all the street trash in jail. Arkham Patient trying to escape? Or are you just a normal person trying to survive?
Maybe your the Villain of the Story, always misunderstood, so full of lies and deceit... but you know there never is a true Hero in the story... Because every hero, is just seen as the Villain in the end...

SEVEN CONTINENTS AND THIRTEEN BIOMES- all ready to be filled with over 150 various species of birds and animals.
3,000 years ago, a man named Hugo Victor Kellen died at the age of 46 of natural causes. He had no offspring. He was also the last remaining human being on the earth.
THE CAUSE? Bio-terrorism. A manmade substance was laced into the majority of the world's natural oil, one that made gasoline itself highly volatile. This substance would remain dormant for various amounts of time before activating a chemical reaction that, without warning, would cause it to become excessively hot and caustic. Within a week, three-quarters of the planet's population was lost to explosions. THE RESULT? With humans divided into a few remaining stragglers on each continent and the oil-bound virus burning itself into extinction within a few weeks, the events were a stepping-stone for nature to repair itself- though many of the drier biomes, especially those in the Middle East and Africa- suffered extreme damage.
In the time that has passed, the earth has essentially been reborn, back to its original lush environment and with many of the same species thriving when they could not before. And that, reader, is where you come in.

Three of the greatest forces from Mass Effect, KotOR, and the DC/Marvel world have "joined forces" to eradicate organic existence from the universe. The Reapers, Darth Nihilus and Galactus (the "Terrible Trio"), beings not of sound, mind, or body, contain many elements of power among them, including the ability to destroy global population in seconds, with their goals being little more than a want for domination and satiation of hunger.
Back on Earth, the Keene Act is in effect, and all super heroes are restricted from using their powers, no matter the peril. This creates quite the rift, as this galactic problem cannot be fully faced with this law in the way. With Galactus left to run amuck due to the simple fact that heroes are not allowed to fight back, imminent danger for organic species across the universe has become more apparent. Many earthly citizens have been pushing for a release of the Act, but all efforts have come in vain. In an attempt to counteract this problem, many heros have colonized on a world named "Terra Lak Tus," but they were not the only ones to do so. Many of their enemies followed them to the neutral world, which acts as a base of operations for many and a hub of communications for others.
The setting is that of the distant future, using the Mass Effect universe as the main area for play, (but at the same time blending with all comic and game universes as well) where super heroes and the System Alliance cooperate with each other to push galactic relations with alien races as well as their own. At the forefront of these efforts are notables such as Batman, Superman, Nite Owl, and Commander Shepard.
The impoverished still make up a good deal of the population of humans, and despite the presence of the Systems Alliance, international crimes are persistent, eroding at the structure of trust needed for full cooperation of all nations involved in the Systems Alliance. A select group of a few, naming themselves "the Watchmen," combat the evils of the world while secretly hiding their identities, so the Keene Act does not lead them to incarceration. Various heroes from the Marvel world and the DC world join them in their endeavor to heal the world despite the fact that they are restricted, as the Systems Alliance is too worried about intergalactic relations rather then humanity itself.
Many Jedi from "Star Wars" followed Nihilus through one of the rifts he created, coming from dark space to combat this challenge. But just as there are many people who feel the need to stand up to this problem, there are many others who desire to perpetuate it by joining forces with the "Terrible Trio" to aid them in the destruction of living beings. They are many in number, and are seemingly impossible to beat, coming from many different galaxies and many different time periods.
Inter-dimensional rifts (created by Nihilus and Galactus) in time and space permitted travel to other locales, reaching out to worlds such as Final Fantasy, Mortal Kombat, the DC universe and others, spreading their conquest to immeasurable heights. This involved many more warriors and villains in the process, themselves either becoming affiliated with the good side or the bad side.
There is a divide among those who wish to purge the evil and those who wish to destroy everything, creating a large universe in a constant state of war and tension, and to add to this many people with great power have not made a decision as to which side they will join. Trust and morality are more of a flat line, and there is no clear winner. The great battle is upon all of those involved, with many lives at stake...
This is a game where the progression of the character you decide to take the role of is driven by socializing and advancing with others on the site. The Spirit of Starfleet is an alternate reality Star Trek role playing forum. This means that it's based primarily on the latest Trek film, the one directed by J.J. Abrams; because the film (and this forum based on it) is set in an alternate reality caused by time travel shenanigans, it opens up many doors concerning plot and character development. While the site is still very much under construction, all are free to come audition. While the Enterprise canons are available for play, several other ships are available with original crews. From casual fans to hardcore Trekkers, we hope to provide a fun writing environment for everyone!

In recent days, a seemingly random group of individuals has emerged with what can only be described as "special" abilities.
Although unaware of it now, these individuals will not only save the world, but change it forever. This transformation from ordinary to extraordinary will not occur overnight. Every story has a beginning.
Volume One of their epic tale begins here ...

Its been 5 years since the death of Director Jenny Sheperd, and things are not what you would expect. In order to make sure that the team isnt disapperated to other jobs and locations, Leroy Jethro Gibbs struggled for four years to become director of NCIS. However, this is not all thats changed. Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo is now team leader of the intial team from the show. Special Agent Timothy Megee is DiNozzos' second and technical specialist. Special Agent Michella Lee is the research anylist of the team and ofcourse, Ziva David has returned to the team. Abby Sciuto is the senior forenscis specialist. She still does lab work for her favorite team but she is over all forensic efforts in NCIS, what a nice raise. Donald "Duckie" Mallard took the oppurtunity to retire from NCIS and recived a nice pension. This means that Jimmy Palmer is now the teams medical examiner. For thoes who want to join the site you may either create a AVAILABLE chracter or an entirely new chracter. If the site gets large enough there can be individual teams apart from the main casted team. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First Case!
